Cultivation Evermortal Technique Tier List
Techniques are B-tier because Qi is farmable. Spend Jade on roots first.
Techniques are the B-tier system in Cultivation Evermortal: you spend Qi to raise gather rate, you spar sect elders for more of them, and Azure Dragon can drop pills, manuals, and a batch of new Techniques. B is not an insult. It means the upgrade is farmable. You should buy good Techniques. You should not treat them like Spirit Jade rolls, and you should not skip a Qi-multiplying root because a shop row looked rare.
This page does not name Techniques or print a fake percent table. The live shop, the live elder panel, and the live Azure Dragon rewards are the authority. When Miki and Miffy Games add or rename rows — including the twenty new Techniques tied to Azure Dragon — grade the effect, not the title card.
If you are still unlocking buttons, read the beginner walkthrough and the cultivation loop first. Redeem sorry (150 Spirit Jade) and azuredragon (100 Spirit Jade) on the codes list so Jade is parked for roots and Talents, not for a panic buy that Techniques do not need.
Why Techniques sit at B
The parent tier list hub ranks investment priority:
- S — Spirit Roots that multiply Qi; see the Spirit Root tier list
- A — Talents that multiply; see the talent tier list
- B — Techniques bought with Qi (this page)
- C — Cosmetic or unknown rolls
Qi auto-gathers. Meditation speeds it. Breakthrough converts a full orb. That loop reprints the currency Techniques cost. Spirit Jade does not reprint itself while you sit. That is the whole ranking.
An individual Technique can still be a high-value B or a skip. If the live tooltip multiplies Qi rate, buy it when you can afford it without delaying a Breakthrough you are about to press. If the tooltip is cosmetic, it is C even though it sits in the Technique shop. If you cannot read it, wait. Unknown is C.
How to grade a Technique
Use the same four tests as rolls, with one extra wallet check.
- Qi rate. A Technique that raises gather speed pays for the next Technique. That is the buy. It also feeds offline ticks after you leave, so a rate Technique is worth more to someone who logs off than a session-only flourish.
- Breakthrough help. If a Technique only makes the Breakthrough press feel nicer, buy it after rate Techniques. The breakthrough guide is the mechanic page; this page is the spend page.
- Battle Power versus Azure Dragon. Easy through Destruction scales to Battle Power. A Technique that raises Battle Power is a reason to farm the dragon this week. A Technique that does not will not magically clear Destruction. See the Azure Dragon guide for Essence, pills, manuals, the Azure Dragon Relic, sealing talismans, and top-100 Jade payouts.
- Synergy with Faster Cultivation Speed (299 R$). The pass multiplies cultivation speed. Rate Techniques stack with that pass the same way rate roots do: the pass is multiplying a larger base. Cosmetic Techniques still do nothing after you pay Robux.
- Wallet check. If buying the Technique would empty Qi right before a Breakthrough, wait. Breakthrough is the realm button. Techniques are the shop. The orb comes first.
Where Techniques actually come from
You will see Techniques in more than one window. Treat the source as a farm route, not a rarity flex.
- Qi shop. The default B-tier sink. Spend leftover Qi after Breakthroughs are not being delayed.
- Sect and elder spars. Join a sect and spar elders for Techniques you would otherwise buy. This is still B-tier. It is cheaper Qi, not a reason to ignore Spirit Roots.
- Azure Dragon. Difficulties from Easy to Destruction scale to Battle Power. Rewards include Dragon Essence, pills, manuals, the Azure Dragon Relic artifact, sealing talismans, top-100 Jade, and twenty new Techniques. Those twenty rows are still Techniques. Grade them with the tests above. Do not assume “new” means S.
Jade from the dragon’s top-100 payouts should go back into Spirit Roots and Talents, not into a second copy of a farmable Technique. Read the Spirit Jade page so the currencies stay in their lanes: Jade rolls, Qi shops, Dragon Essence for the dragon loop, Spirit Stones and Dao Marks for their own sinks.
Gamepasses and false Technique panic
- Quick Roll (99 R$) does not buy Techniques. It only speeds Jade rolls. Ignore it on this page.
- Faster Cultivation Speed (299 R$) makes rate Techniques more valuable. It does not make them scarce. Keep buying them with Qi.
- 1.5x Spirit Stones (199 R$) and 1.5x Dao Marks (799 R$) matter if a Technique or related sink is priced in those currencies on the live shop. They do not move Techniques into S-tier.
Playstyle still matters. A meditator who parks the client should prioritize rate Techniques before Battle Power Techniques. A dragon climber inverts that for a session, then returns to rate for the offline hours. The playstyle hub and build routes exist so you do not freeze the shop waiting for a named row this wiki will not publish.
When you ascend at life peak, remember what is farmable. A Technique you can buy again is a weaker reason to delay ascension than a Qi-multiplying root you already locked. Rank art from Mortal toward Great Emperor is a long road; B-tier shops are how you walk it without spending the Jade that should have been a root.
After a patch, open the updates hub and the live shop together. Official destinations sit on the links hub. Scripts that auto-buy every Technique or auto-clear Azure Dragon are account risk — read script safety instead of pasting them.
Shop after a dragon clear, not before a Breakthrough. If the orb is full, press Breakthrough. If the orb is climbing and Qi is leftover, buy the Technique whose live tooltip multiplies rate or Battle Power. If the tooltip is a skin, leave it on the shelf. Farmable upgrades stay B-tier even when the banner is gold, and that is what keeps Jade free for the systems that cannot be farmed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for cultivators who want the next breakthrough, not another dead end.
Why are Techniques only B-tier?
You buy them with Qi, which regenerates while you cultivate. Spirit Roots and Talents spend Spirit Jade, which does not. B means farmable, not useless. See the tier list hub for the full ladder.
Should I spend Qi on Techniques or wait for Breakthrough?
Breakthrough when the orb is full. Buy Techniques with leftover Qi. Delaying a Breakthrough to afford a shop row is the common stall — the breakthrough guide covers the button.
Are Azure Dragon’s twenty new Techniques S-tier?
No. They are still Techniques. Grade each live tooltip for Qi rate and Battle Power. New is not a tier. Climbing and rewards are on the Azure Dragon guide.
Do elder spars replace the Technique shop?
They are another farm route, not a different tier. Spar when you are in a sect. Still spend Jade on Spirit Roots first.
Does Faster Cultivation Speed change Technique priority?
It raises the value of rate Techniques because the 299 R$ pass multiplies a larger base. It does not make Techniques scarce. Cosmetic rows stay C.
Will this page list Technique names and percents?
No. Names and numbers live in the shop and move with patches. Use the live tooltip, then the four tests above. Patch notes belong on updates.
