Cultivation Evermortal Spirit Root Tier List
Qi-multiplying roots are S-tier. Lock the live tooltip, not a leaked name.
Spirit Roots are the S-tier system in Cultivation Evermortal because they multiply the resource everything else spends. Qi auto-gathers. Meditation speeds that tick. A full orb is a Breakthrough. Techniques bought with Qi raise the rate further. None of that matters as much as a root that multiplies the tick itself. Offline gathering, the Faster Cultivation Speed pass, and every later life after you ascend ride on the same number.
This page does not invent root names, elements, or percentage rows. The live in-game rarity table is the authority. When a patch renames a root, the test below still works: does this root multiply Qi, help Breakthrough, raise Battle Power, or only look expensive?
New players should claim sorry (150 Spirit Jade) and azuredragon (100 Spirit Jade) on the codes list and read the Spirit Jade page before they touch the root gacha. Jade is how you roll. Qi is not.
Why roots outrank Talents and Techniques
The parent tier list hub uses one ladder:
- S — Spirit Roots that multiply Qi (this page)
- A — Talents that multiply; see the talent tier list
- B — Techniques bought with Qi; see the technique tier list
- C — Cosmetic or unknown rolls
A root is S as a system because it is scarce and it sits under the whole loop. An individual root can still be C if the live table shows no Qi, Breakthrough, or Battle Power line. Do not keep a blank root because the banner used the word “divine.”
Talents are A because they also spend Jade, but they usually multiply on top of a root rather than replacing it. Techniques are B because you farm them with sitting, meditating, sect spars, and Azure Dragon manuals. You cannot farm a better root by waiting; you spend Jade or you keep the one you have.
How to grade a Spirit Root
Read the live tooltip. Score it in this order.
- Qi rate. A multiplier on gather speed is the S-test. It works while you stand still, while you meditate, and while you are away. That is why the offline progress page keeps telling you to lock a root before you leave the server. A pretty root with no rate line is not S.
- Breakthrough help. Some roots make the full-orb press cleaner. That is real value if Breakthrough is the wall you feel. It is still usually second to rate, because a faster fill creates more Breakthroughs. Pair this with the breakthrough guide and the cultivation loop.
- Battle Power versus Azure Dragon. Easy through Destruction scales to Battle Power. A root that raises Battle Power helps you take Dragon Essence, pills, manuals, the Azure Dragon Relic, sealing talismans, and top-100 Jade. A root that only recasts the mortal silhouette does not. Climbing notes sit on the Azure Dragon guide.
- Synergy with Faster Cultivation Speed (299 R$). The pass multiplies cultivation speed. A Qi-multiplying root makes that pass more honest: you paid Robux to multiply a number that is already going up. A cosmetic root wastes the pass. If you own Faster Cultivation Speed, do not keep rolling Talents until the root already multiplies Qi.
If you cannot read the effect, the root is C until the table explains it. Do not invent a “probably 2x” so the roll feels finished.
Jade budget: lock, then stop
Spirit Jade is the scarce ticket. Codes are the free stack. Gamepasses do not replace a root.
A clean first-life plan:
- Finish the beginner walkthrough far enough that you can see the roll window and the live table.
- Redeem codes. Park Jade. Do not roll on impulse.
- Open the live table. Decide what a “lock” looks like: a Qi multiplier you can point at, not a name you saw in a clip.
- Roll roots until you hit that lock, or until the reroll planner says the remaining Jade is for Talents or the next life.
- Only then roll Talents. Buy Techniques with Qi while you wait.
Playstyle changes how greedy you can be. A meditator who leaves the client running should be ruthless about Qi rate. A dragon climber may keep a slightly worse rate root if Battle Power is clearly higher and Azure Dragon is the session goal. Map that on the playstyle hub and the build routes. Do not copy a loadout that lists root names this wiki will not print.
Passes, stones, and false S-tiers
- Quick Roll (99 R$) makes tapping faster. It does not raise root odds. If your plan is “one more tap,” you do not have a plan.
- Faster Cultivation Speed (299 R$) is the pass that loves S-tier roots. Buy it when the root already multiplies Qi.
- 1.5x Spirit Stones (199 R$) and 1.5x Dao Marks (799 R$) are currency passes. They are not root multipliers. Buy them when those wallets are the wall, not as a consolation prize for a mediocre root.
Sect spars and elder fights can drop or teach Techniques. They do not replace a root. Azure Dragon’s twenty new Techniques are still B-tier farmable rows. Dragon Essence is for the dragon loop, not for pretending a C-tier root is fine.
Rank art from Mortal toward Great Emperor will show better silhouettes as you climb. That climb is slower with a blank root, no matter how well the throne screenshot would crop.
When a patch ships, read the updates hub, then re-open the live table. Official links sit on the links hub. Auto-roll scripts that promise an S-named root are account risk; the script safety page is the only script page you need.
A Spirit Root is worth locking when you can tap the live tooltip and show a Qi multiplier — or a Battle Power line you are actually using on Azure Dragon this week. If the tooltip is flavor, keep the Jade. The next life after ascension will thank you more than a root you cannot explain.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for cultivators who want the next breakthrough, not another dead end.
Why are Spirit Roots S-tier?
They multiply Qi, which feeds meditation, Breakthroughs, Techniques, and offline ticks. Talents are A. Techniques are B because you can farm them with time.
Should I reroll a root that does not multiply Qi?
Yes if you still have Jade and the live table shows Qi-multiplying roots exist. Cosmetic roots are C. Set a stop line in the reroll planner so you do not empty the purse.
Do I roll roots or Talents first?
Roots first when both spend Spirit Jade. Then multiplier Talents. Buy Techniques with Qi on a separate track.
Does Faster Cultivation Speed replace a good root?
No. The 299 R$ pass multiplies cultivation speed. It is worth more when the root already multiplies Qi, and worth less when the root is blank.
Will this page name every Spirit Root?
No. Names and rarity rows change with patches. Grade the live tooltip with the four tests above. Patch context lives on the updates hub.
Do roots matter for Azure Dragon?
Yes if they raise Qi into more Breakthroughs or raise Battle Power directly. Destruction still scales to Battle Power. Cosmetic roots do not pay Jade on the Azure Dragon board.
